How Many Generals Spoke out Against the War and Did Not "Betray-Us?"
The recent firestorm of controversy over Move On's Petraeus = "Betray
Us" ad called into question whether it was proper to criticise a
general who lies to the American people to support an administration's
position during wartime. Well, I thought I would put together a page of
generals who have opposed the war. These guys mostly criticized the war
and the administration after retiring, but historians consider it unprecedented
that so many generals would speak out. The left of the blogosphere is
convinced that twenty generals have spoken out against the administration's
handling of the war. I hope to add more as I find them, but right now
I only have eleven, plus two British ones. Please
