what is real?

people hate retouch. they do because retouch is unreal. nowadays people struggle for real things. they like to be told the truth and not being deceived. people expect the photographer to go around, pick amazing things and put the evidence in plastic bags ready for use. no deception please! only body of evidence, nitty-gritty. but what if the amazing thing doesn’t completely exist until you make it come true? what if the great beauty is nothing but digital deception of (un)reality? personally when i review my before and after files i am always convinced that the before version must be a fake while the after version is the correct reality.
